I vote for bigger shows, two, three, four times a week with a weekend summary.

I again ask for a PSP version of the show..

don't mind the advertising...

Wow I couldn't believe that I was on the commercial! I was the first person to be on the commercial and I am HAPPY that alot of people are posting on the frapper map. If your in Chicago contact me on myspace and make sure your on the frapper map to support the chicagoland area! I love DL.TV and wish that you didn't leave tech tv Patrick (which is the reason I no longer have techtv because now its a bunch of garbage with the new line up's except for a few shows) Keep up the good work and I hope you guys are super successful and make gobs of money!

Hey, if you don't care about someone elses opinion, what makes you think we give a shit about what you have to say? Mmm... well, *I* personally couldn't give a shit.

Feel free to erase my comment... I'd understand if you did.

I must be missing something. There seems to be a lot of whinning about the downloadable versions being available at a specific time and saying that you were unprofessional because of that. The comments seemed to indicate that the live show was delivered without a hitch so it would appear that some people just go out of their way to find something to complain about. I don't watch the live feed, I didn't know that there was one, but if I was in a hurry to watch the show I would watch the live broadcast and quit complaining about you putting out a version that I could watch at my convenience.
I enjoy watching the show, the wmv, as I think hat it is good quality in format and content.
Thank You for your time and effort.

I just downloaded # 29 at around 400 KBps. As soon as the download finished I ran a test from Giganews.com which was 5994 kbps. My broadband service is Comcast with a max speed of 6000 kbps.

I average about 500-600KB/s. I'm on a 10mb connection.

The link this spammer is posting is from a previous episode, the one where they speak op the maxthon browser. This person is spamming to no end. Just thought I'd save someone else the bandwidth and effort.
Cheers.

While not Ideal, H.264 offers up to QT users what WMV did to AVI.....very good looking compressed video while maintaining manageable file size for distribution. Properly set, you get mpeg-2 quality at a fraction of the size. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it is a mpg4 based file format, although I haven't tested this yet to find the validity (read it in a press release when the codec came out). What I do know is that it is FAR superior to the previous h.263 release, and blows Sorenson Squeeze out of the water. Downside; Large files take a long time to compress.
Don't hate, Mac users want their DL.TV too! (I own and use both)

Well, I WOULD add myself to the map if it'd let me, despite the fact my country/city is already present (there are already viewers from there) it refuses to add me, stating that my city is unknown, which is utter crap..

But either way, DL.TV rocks!

What's going on? mpeg4 and wmv are all 1k placement markers not files. Read the posts and get it fixed. Very
unprofessional.

Come on people we get all this content for free and people are still complaining? This is why our country is so f`ed up because of the cheap, spoiled rotten people out there that nothing is good enough. We need to realize that all that these people do for us everyday is very cool of them and if you would like i`m sure that they would be glad to charge for the content. If you dont like what they do or say do your own f`ing podcast. Thanks to all of you for keeping us informed and keeping the manufacturers honest.

I love that H.264 is @ 640x480 res. I have to be able to watch it full screen on my 19inch crt @ 1152x864 anything smaller and it looks like crap. Now if you want to make a higher res/file size I'm all for it.

P.s to the few that are still talking about bitorrent, Pat has said they wont do bittorrent till they can accurately track the downloads...

That was horrible - to wake up and find my computer downloading all the DLTV episodes at once. I had 5.4Gigs of partial episodes on my HD before I stopped it! :(
Now I will just selectively download as I remember, until you promise never to do that again. Sorry, but you lost my trust for a while at least.

It must be a server problem. My download starts great, then is choked off.

Or, it could be all the lawyers downloading for their case against DL.TV for exposing the Sony PS3 for what it is, a con job. ;)

Great show brings back memories of the old techtv days!! I watch the show on my XV6700 Pocket PC phone. Thanks for providing all the differnt formats, but like everone else I have to but my request in. What would really be nice is a "download now" button on the windows media file. The reasoning is that with window mobile IE there is no right click and "save as" option. When you click the file it starts playing, this would be find but the Pocket Pc cache is too small to stream the show (On a side note I can sream my slingbox just fine). With verizon broadband I would be able to download the show directly just fine while on the road.
Thanks

WOW!

I'm at uni in Australia and I just download the h.264 file at 8MB/sec. Didn't think the servers could handle that. I guess someone else on the uni system could have downloaded it. So it was already in cache.
Either way I'm impressed.

I didn't mean to fuse Robert & Patrick into the unihost Robertrick! I think Win's attention span went somewhere else while I was typing & I didn't catch the dropped keystrokes. I guess it could have been worse. If I had reversed the names the unihost might've been Patbert - then I'd probably owe royalties to Scott Adams. :(

Does Congress still plan to make this change to Daylight Savings Time, is it still planned for Fall 2007, I assume there will be upgrades to every operating system to handle this if it happens. Doesn't that textured steel background play havoc with the video compression algorithims? If not why not put some throwies up there?

The map doesn't work very well. When I tried to move the dot for my location, it zipped all over the map and the map wasn't zoomed in enough to tell exactly where it was. When I zoomed in enough to find my location, the dot wouldn't move. This app needs work. Maybe you could select a state and it would zoom out.
