Thursday August 25, 2005
Hello everyone,

This is Scott, the Associate Producer of Digital Life TV, and I just had a conversation with some people about how to be able to fast forward and rewind and generally play with the show.  Well, what you want to do...and this mainly for Windows Users since I very rarely use a MAC...is right click on the link and choose "save link as" off the menu.  Once you do that, Windows will ask you where you want to save it and you probably know the rest.

Remember, we have our next Digital Life TV airing this next Tuesday, August 30th at 9pm on the east coast and 6pm on the West Coast.  Central time is 8pm and Mountain time is 7pm.  Didn't want to leave the middle of the country out of the time loop.  Thank you all for watching and hope to hear from you soon.

Scott Asnault

Goodness. I thought this was obvious. I always download to my harddrive prior to viewing. I thought all those commenters complaining about the lack of rewind/fast forward had been viewing it live.

Is the next episode gonna be done in the new sound studio?

Well I downloaded the file and I still have the problems with fastforward and cuts before the gamereview.

Please make an .avi with XViD encoding -- that will take care of all - THANKS.

It still doesn't fix the rewind/fast forward problem. The WMV file is damaged and incomplete.

VLC will ff/rw broken wmv files

The first time I downloaded the file was only about 80MBs, so I resumed the download with "wget -c", seems like the servers don't support resuming though, so it downloaded it all again.

"since I very rarely use a MAC..."

you may rarely use a Mac, but i bet you use a MAC everyday.

this is sad, coming from a "tech" show producer, or ass. producer.

Why are you making this so hard for us, provide an RSS feed with the video so we can download it with a podcatcher.
