Hey I'm one of Nick Falzone's buddies from school and I just wanted to congratulate Nick on his rad case. I was lucky cause I got to see his case from start to finish and it's quite the work of art. I can't wait to see his next idea.

I managed to get my hands on one. Nice amp. Quiet, clean, and shows my tiny satellite speakers as the weak point. I use it as an amp for my iPod, which makes a nice alarm clock.

those 300+ hours sure paid off. that was a really nice case.

I recently unsubbed from the Video and switched to video (I listen to it in iTunes). If you guys get the cute geek girl back, I'm going to have to switch back to video.... sigh

divx works perfect, i was tired of waiting for the xvid and was doing it myself every week. i just changed the .divx to .avi and it works on my philips dvd player.

HP photosmart M517 is a TOTAL CRAP, old 2 Mpix Canons beat that garbage can in every aspect (forget about shots in cloudy days, eats battery/akku like a dragon sheeps).

I don't have any problems commenting with firefox.

I have to agree to a point with MrAngryPants, running that pathetic "truth about" is embarassing.
I understand the realities of the situation thought.
Patrick knows what's up, anyone who has heard him on TWIT knows where he stands but Patrick also works for a big corporation who I am sure drools at the thought of Microsoft ad $$$.
This isnt your typical 4 wankers around a microphone podcast, Ziff Davis is one of the big players. 4 wankers can say flat out what they think, Norton has a leash. Sure its a long leash and he more than made up for it with that brilliant Python reference and thats the realities he has to deal with it.

Do we let him off the hoook? Of course not, we politely tell him what we think and if enough of us are pissed off at false advertising, he'll be able to tell his bosses "Folks, you are pissing off quite a few of the savvy listeners who know a little more about computers and the underlying politics than the average consumer who is only interested in whats cool (that means you Apple fanboys!)"

Still, I have to wonder if the next ad will be one touting why Microsoft's proprietary open (!!!) standard is better than the one that was built by various organizations and which will guarantee a true open document standard.
U can see it now: "Microsoft open .DOC format: Have we ever lied to you before?"

Hey, I can take the TWIT circle jerk in very small doses and honestly whenver Leo mentions the good people at AOL who give bandwidth for the show, I get queasy because in the back of my mind tehre is the worry that Leo is muzzled from saying that AOL was and is still for retards who need their hand held.
A friend compared Laporte to Bozo and Geldof who gave Bush and Blair a couple of days of world class blow jobs this summer or as he put it 'giving AOL a public handjob'.

So Patrick, tell your superiors that this ad sucks and that even though in business all sides have their opinions, allowing such FUD means that you are willing to cross a line for ad $$$.
How about a SCO ad next telling us to buy their license-extortion deals?

Its like the old joke about the guy who offers a woman a million bucks to sleep with her but when he brings down the price to $100 at the last second, she cries out "What kind of slut do you think I am?"

We know what kind, now it seems to be just a question about haggling for a price.
