Just wondering, is there a spesific reason the show seems to be starting later and later? I remember a couple weeks ago it seemed to start right on time, like clockwork. Not bitching, just curious.

Patricks choices are good (well done for not mentioning Pinnacle... since it's a very, very, buggy program).
My favorite PC Video editor is Sony Vegas. They have a Movie Stuido version that is a bit better than Adobe Premiere Elements for the same price (but can do more cool special effects) and has far superior Audio extentions you can get too.
Good show... See you Tuesday.

Perhaps poor Joey was asking for you to _recommend_ a gaming system to him when he asked you to "set him up" with a system. In any case, Robert was funny as "heck," even though he did break you're "bad language" rule with his use of the word "wad" to describe Joey. However, rules be damned, keep it up! I enjoy non-PC behavior on PC shows.

The video quality of the h.264 has been pretty low latley. Everything is very blury and washed out. I would rather have the smaller better quality version from the earliest episodes.

Patrick,
Your show is really a breath of fresh air after seeing what else is available to watch about computering.
You really have a great and fun show to watch and learn from.
Keep up the EXCELLENT WORK!!!
Take care,

The only bad thing about it that I couldnt find anything to bitch about in this episode.
Nice flow, good banter, Rob has a 'moment' at the end, excellent topics, wity and hip guest with as a bonus that touch of moral superiority that you get from talking open source, EFF and such 'freedom' related things. Even the phone incident was entertaining.
Show so nice, we listened to it twice with the kids (although the wife aint too crazy about that neck snapping commercial. i then remind her that the other option is those foul moutherd lads from Lugradio and she gave up! We dont use TV to babysit our kids: No, we have them watch that funny man with the dorky classes who makes them laugh!!)
maybe you could do an episode segement dealing with an indepth look at video editing options for what 95% of computer video stuff is for: home movies (or the Howard Stern Film Festival which is gonna be this month!) It would be nice for PC people who are looking for a simple video editing software that can let them put video online as quickly as imovie. The majority of people dont need anything more complicated than that. Maybe even mention other free storage sites besides Google, Youyube, etc.
How about an audio podcasting episode? Go over the main tools, software, mic, services needed to start your own podcast. Its always easy to say 'buy this camera' which costs more than a years salary.
It takes more preparation if you set yourself a budget limit your project would cost but it would be really useful for people who still think that you need big finances to do a podcast. Do a segment on mic, boards, mixers, M-Audio like gear, then one on software, then a primer on different RSS feeds and what all the Odeo, Itunes, Yahoo, RSS, Atom buttons mean, how many you should use, etc. You got a nice show right there and you can use various guests to liven it up.

Outstanding show; but, Robert's section at the end was worth fifty times the price of admission. I'm still laughing - it was that funny - AND appropriate!
Wouldn't he be a refreshing breath as president instead of ... ahhh ... errr ... well, you know. (I keep hearing clicks and hums when I use the telephone).
