Robert and Patrick,
I have taken apart a laptop and it was a pain in the backside, but I was able to put it back together with no spare parts. I was a good learning experience.

Hey Guys,

I was "one" of the mp4 RSS subscriber using Juice. I freakin' hate ITunes like a passion, but love my IPod. I use Anapod to transfer my media to the player.

How do you subscribe to the IPod feed without ITunes?

Keep up the good work!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the heads up on Democracy. I have been downloading the MPG4 and converting it to my PSP with Video9. Tough luck for us 4% 'ers. Sadly the H.624 does not convert.

I guess I'll have to change my viewing times to lockdown in front of the PC.

At least I will have an automated download now with Democracy... Thanks again for keeping us up on the latest and greatest.

To all my GreatFriends,

Over my 20 plus years of law enforcement and executive protection I have had the distinct honor of meeting and losing outstanding individuals. Heroes!

James Kim's selfless acts and brute strength/determination to save his family rank him among one of the finest heroes I have ever met. On two occasions I had the privilege of meeting James Kim in San Francisco. I hold those two meetings close to my heart.

When I saw him and his family appear in front of me on the evening news. I was devastated and at the same time hopeful that the outcome would have turned out even more favorable than it did. I know James Kim can rest at ease knowing that his efforts were not in vain and led to the saving of his family. For that he is a true inspiration and hero.

With heroes I have lost in the line of duty over many years, I take solace in the fact that I learn something to make myself and others safer in this dangerous world. Without a doubt, the lessons I have learned from James Kim's unfortunate turn of fate will help me and others in the future.

Yesterday I got online and read an article on information/equipment needed to survive if stranded in the wilderness. I ordered numerous affordable survival items along with a small duffel bag to keep in my vehicle. I call it my "Kim" pack.

Thank you James!

"My thoughts are with the Kim family and close friends during the sadness of the recent painful events and the joyful remembrance of past fondness."

Your Friend,
Mike

Can we take a vote how many ppl want a psp download....I watch you guys using the iPod download but a psp download would look better.

There is no need to take a vote on formats or accuse dl.tv of being apple snobs. All dl.tv has to do is bring up the download stats and see that only 8 people and their dog Gooch were downloading XYZ format and decide it's not profitable to offer that format. In the real world there is are things called operating costs and resource allocation.

In response to Roger's request for a Dl.tv python script for Xbmc. I've modded the Twit reader to work with the Dl.tv feeds and have submitted it to xbmcscripts.com (This is where the script installer lists and downloads from)

If you don't want to wait you can check it out here.

Not to nitpick or anything but Roger, FINNISH not Russian. Your Star Wreak: In The Pirkinning reference. You know, just FYI. Finland is not Russia. Know your geography.

And if you wanna check out the awesome fan made Star Wreck movies go to www.starwreck.com. And bring your sense of humor.

Not ever meeting James Kim we still feel after watching him for many years & needing his advise on Digital media that he had become a friend.
We were devastated also with the sad news after hoping & praying he would also be found alive. He will be be missed. A hero, yes! Have left our condolences on the CNET site to his beautiful family.

Patrick, can you guys do some shows on the tech that helped find James. The tech behind the Cell phone to help find location of users. How we can help ourselves in Emergency situations.

Also more in depth coverage of the Best GPS units. You have touched on them, but would like to see how you, Patrick, use Your GPS system. More details. It is all Greek to us & would appreciate a closer look if you could please.

James Kim family has made us all aware how much we need more info on survival. We, like others have added more items to our Emerg Survival kit.

We love DLTV! Keep up the great work. :-)

As long as they don't ditch Divx down the road, i'm fine with losing mpeg4. I like watching it at my place with the H.264, but i like using divx for my lower end systems that don't have 2+ GgZ processors. I should see if the one 400 MgZ processor could handle divx. hah!

It's "Star Wreck: In the Pirkining" and it is Finnish, not Russian. Very funny if you don't mind subtitles. http://www.starwreck.com/

huh. Does the xbox have a gpu though? I tried the h.264 on a 1 ghz gateway with integrated graphics and it choked. Maybe that time was just my fault. =)

Just watched 114. Excellent episode.

Suggestion box:
When doing reviews always REPEAT the na
me and price of the product at the end of the segment.
The remote control you talked about was ingenious but I didn't catch the name.
Think about it:
Host: "Here is a new gee whiz whizbang product called the GEEWHIZ Remote"
Viewer: "so what...who cares...its a remote"
Host: "It does really cool stuff like so and so.."
Viewer: "oh wow that is cool...what did he say that was?"
Host: "and now for our next review..."
Viewer: "oh crap too bad I don't know what that was...oh well...I could visit the website...or I could lay here in bed and watch the rest of the show...which should I do? hmmm....naaawwwww.."
