Sony announced today that they are not allowing porn to be released on Blu-Ray... I call HD DVD to win! Porn is what determined the VHS/Betamax war and I think history shall repeat itself.Link

Funny that Bluray says the war is over:
http://www.digg.com/tech_news/No_Porn_On_Sony_HD_DVD_Blu_ray

Sony won't allow porn on blu-ray discs

So porn companies are going with HD-DVD

AND what did robert say, whatever format the porn industry goes with is the one that will win

Very curious about this toothbrush

Great show!!! Robert, you said something about an OLED display; what is the deal? The last I heard of OLED it had too many limitations to be of good use in HDTV. What are your thoughts of the technology now?

Enjoyed seeing all the different things people are creating.

Just one question. Does Jim also work for HSN?

Ok. I normally don't leave comments in places like this. You guys always do a killer job. I really do appreciate your shows. I'm on "2of4" right now of your CES shows.

Maybe I made the mistake of watching the Macworld Keynote first. I have to say, watching to all these "wonderful phones" debuts is like watching Serenity in HD then watching a guy talk politics.
Really. Nails on a chalkboard.

I am still watching and always will.

Great show guys. My highlights where the robot and vibrating hijinks. You showed a lot of products shipping in the near future these past few days, anything at CES a little further out? Were there any SED or carbon nano tube displays?

The asimo clip played twice, the thing is. It WAS worth watching a second time. :P

The R2 thing was SOOO good. They should make a budget version. They would sell thousands.

I agree with another person who posted though. You do this so well that you should come into more tradeshows throughout the world. Not just America.

The other thing, no porn on bluray? Thats insane. This may sound bad but its actually VERY good. You now know HD-DVD will win the war so you can go out and start the big collection. Robert usually says bluray VS HD-DVD you might have to wait this one out to see who wins. Well, in my eyes the war is not over, but is clearly has a pre-defined ending.

First, not sure if you guys have noticed but at least on the H.264 format of the show it displays the 2006 Ziff Davis Media copyright. :>

Bluetooth??? Use it on my PocketPC and Delorme Earthmate Bluetooth GPS unit. Works flawlessly... I have also successfully used BT to synch the PPC which came in handy when I was on the ride and didn't feel like breaking out the dock. The only thing I have tried using BT and not been impressed with was the keyboard/mouse combo that MS released a few years ago.

Massaging mice? Can we not have more useless USB devices?

Really enjoy your shows, been a long time viewer of ZDTV/TechTV until I PCS'd to the land of the rising sun once again (2X here). Just discovered DLTV/TWiT/CrankyGeeks stuff recently and I am having a blast listening to knowledgeable geeks that I trust.

Thanks.

I normally don't post comments on any board, but this has got to be the best episode ever! Forty-two products and I still wanted more. Man, Patrick must be speaking at 400 wpm. I'm glad that your viewers have doubled.

Great show! When Patrick tested the eye massager, I nearly wet myself laughing.

"there's a setting where it will actually start vibrating your entire skull..." - great comedic timing! Patrick and Jim are hilarious when they do the rapid-fire reviews.

Keep it up - this is a blast!

I just downloaded the 'Quicktime H.264' file. Looks like the PS3 doesn't like/see the .MOV file format, even tho the codec is right. I just hope there will be a 640x480 PS3 friendly video in the future.

Thanks.

About the i-Pod ready car stereo...They've had car stereos like that since at least Spring of 2006. By the way, that 'nifty' USB port that allows you to play songs from a thumb drive? I'm willing to bet it will play the songs alphabetically regardless of the playlist (just like what happens in many cases where people burned mp3's to cd and popped em in). Also, when you pope them out and pop 'em back in it starts all the way at the first track. Car stereos should have some function that allows for them to be shuffled easily.

(Easy solution for those of us using non-iPode mp3 players is to pop an adapter into the auxillary, works a lot better than the USB.)

Problems with the wmv download. I tried it like 4 times and got only about a fourth of the file each time. I am using firefox and each time I downloaded I would get a different amount of the file and the download would say it was done with no error message.

Same thing happened with the .mov file.

Any Suggestions?
