STUFF
• We had mad fun at Maker Faire 2007. Hosted at the San Mateo Fairgrounds, the two day event featured everything from DIY electronics to a life size (and mostly working) recreation of the game Mouse Trap. Wooden bicycles roamed about (along with the delightfully odd creations of Cyclecide, at least one steam powered car, and a lot of remote control ... stuff.)
• Throw in the crafts section (sewing, knitting and prints... oh my!), hands on activities with everything from button repair to home sized computer controlled plywood cutters, and, well, you've got some serious fun.
• We'll try to give you a taste of the Faire, and get a little DIY in the show today.
• Speaking of Do It Yourself, we've got Roger's favorite apps for your cell phone.
• Patrick's going to (try and) build the MintyBoost USB Charger Kit this week.
• Do it yourself canned air? Matthew says it works, and it won't catch on fire!
• Xbox Soft Mod: Eamon wants to know if he can upgrade his hard drive, too.
• Looking into doing a live stream online, Cameron? We've got some ideas on how you can pull that off without going a) mad or b) broke if it gets super popular.
DL.TV is hosted on MEVIO. Come on around and Meet People.

I really enjoy downloading and watching the show.
Is there a trick to watching the live stream, because I always get a blank page that seems to just keep "loading" forever?

Ah it was something on my end, copied the link and opened the beloved windoz media player and got video. I have had problems getting audio through it. Opened it in vlc and WALAH! It worked. I have more than one machine with the same problem, gotta figure it out. Great quality on my end, keep up the good work.

The shows is posted sooner and sooner.
I really have to give you guys props for getting the show out so fast. It's still the same day! :)
I remember not to long ago, we'd have to wait until the evening of the next day to watch the show.
Thank you everyone at DL.TV for the hard work. It's much appreciated.

Love the show, and don't want any other hosts...
but it's 9:30 p.m. MST. Gotta get up early, so
why not just say Wednesday and Friday for the new
shows? Don't watch the live feeds since you changed
times....just wondering...

I have watched all episodes of DL.TV and would like to say that the overwhelming majority of the shows have been interesting. However, this show was bad, bad. I fast forwarded through 90 percent of it. I'm surprised you didn't make a separate video for the Maker Faire 2007 as you did previously on Systm. I do believe everyone deserves a mulligan. In the future please reduce the blue-ray hd-dvd talk, eliminate interview segments concerning gaming of any kind and get more into hardcore tech. Suggestions - perhaps show some OS X stuff, linux stuff (more than a system loaded with Ubuntu on the desktop) show different distros and actually use the operating system, routers, wireless security, overclocking, more viewer questions, solid open source software..etc..

I think that someone should mention with the foot pump is that at lease the way I was told was that the air like in pumps and air compressors has water vapor that can short out electronics.

Canned gas addiction? I don't have a pump, so I'll stick with the canned air for keeping my computer clean.

It's called common sense. Something that I guess people these days have forgotten. Naturally if you are going to blast your iPod in your ears at full volume you will have hearing problems. If you can't control the volume then you shouldn't own any kind of stereo equipment at all because they can all damage your ears easily. Apple or any company cannot be your baby sitter for what you do with your equipment every second of the day.

Guys, please remember the L - it's soldering, NOT soddering.
Other than that, keep up the good work. :)
