Orange box has a few problems...
Those tend to be the min requirements to play the games.
THEY dont work.
The minimum RAM is 720megs NOT 512, and even with that ep02 wont play very well.

You didn't discuss the PC game of the Year for 2007: Crysis!
Better than Halo and all those other console games.

Poster 1: Clueless
Poster 3: GOY, but not even out yet???
Anyway for grownup talk:
The bit on the NAS was good, even if it is BSD.
Maybe do a 3 minute firewall thing on 'this is your network connection and these are the ports that it uses, like port 80 http, port 22 ssh, etc' Just to get noobs up to speed. I get a kick out of '24' when they say, 'get me a socket'. Funny.

what happened to the free cd-burning software segment? the segment was scratched 2 weeks in a row.
I use a Samsung (DTB-H260F) set top HDTV tuner. Not only does it work with an HDTV monitor, but it can be hooked up to a PC display via the many outputs on the box.
I bought mine online via Samsungs online store finder. ABT Electronics proccessed the order and sent it to me in less than a week.

Couple episodes ago (think it was 202), Roger mentioned Super Duper for Mac. Are there any good programs out there for Windows? Preferably free. I recently reinstalled XP and would like to backup everything before the C: drive gets cluttered w/ other programs.
Thank you.

I was a little "offended" about the comment in the game section where he said that the graphics in HL 2: Episode Two are better in the console versions than the PC version. There's no facts to support that statement... little console bias perhaps?

About the DR787T recommendation. I think the DR787T, while it will tune ATSC/QAM but will downscale it to 480p. So if a broadcast is in 1080i it will get converted to 480p. If you have upscaling on it can be converted back to something like 720p or 1080i but thats not the same as if it tuned 1080i and passed it directly to the monitor.

Towards MMF's comment about the DR787T.
If I try to use the tuner to watch HD over the air using component on a 720p HD ready TV. I would'nt be getting HD? Only 480i? Was thinking about buying one but not if its only 480i.
