STUFF
• Jason Cross of ExtremeTech.com is our Co-Host of the week.
• Our Viewer Tech Pic of the Week is from Steven of Parts Unknown. He has a 73" Mitsubishi WD-73827 and the Speakers are 4x JBL E100, Sats are 2x JBL E10, and the Sub is a JBL S120Pii. Driving the audio is a Pioneer VSX-74TXVi Elite. The PC consists of a Asus Motherbord P5AD2-E Premium, Pentium 4 3.4Ghz processor, Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20" LCD Monitor, Video Card: eVGA Nvidia 6800GT and the case is a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream.
• Shane Bettenhausen of Electronic Gaming Monthly joins Scott to talk about Capcom's Latest installment of Devil May Cry. Devil May Cry 4.
•  Tip Time. Want to send out that Word document, but not the changes or other information that might be attached to the file? Scott Asnault has a quick tip to remove all that data in a flash.
• Benchmarking - What is it and how do you do it? It's an awful big question, but the gist of it is this. Benchmarking is when you evaluate and compare the performance of things. Let's say you're benchmarking a hard drive. You'll use software designed for that purpose that measures the read and write speed, access latency, and so on. You might copy a large file to it and time how long it takes. To benchmark a graphics card, you might run a graphics-intensive game and see how many frames per second you get (how smoothly the game runs). Then you do the same thing with another piece of hardware, using the exact same parameters, keeping everything exactly the same except for the one piece of hardware you're testing. The numbers you get can vary widely, depending on what you're testing. The key is to make sure you're running all tests the same way each time, keeping the test setup as similar as possible, and that you present the results in a way that's easy to understand.
• We have a viewer question from Jake:
• I would like to upgrade my PCs CPU to a Core 2 Duo from a Pentium D can I just pick any Intel CPU off a shelf or is there more to it?
• The answer is "maybe." It all depends on your motherboard - some motherboards support both the Pentium D and the Core 2 Duo, some don't. It depends on the model of motherboard you have and the model of processor. You might need to update the BIOS (system firmware on your motherboard), too. If you bought a PC from a major vendor, you should call their tech support and ask, or possibly look up the exact model on the web. It'll take a little digging to find out, unfortunately.
• Nick from Naperville pointed out that there was a way to be heard if you are singing while playing Rock Band over the net.
• In episode 217 Veronica said she couldn't get her friends to hear her while she sang. If this is on the 360, the singer can hold the LT button while singing and your friends will be able to hear you.

Great show! Sidewinder? Duke Heron, you need a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB!

Devil May Cry, is that only from a third person perspective? I try to avoid those. It never fails that a wall will seperate me from my character and when I find it again I'm usually dead.

There's a Left Trigger on the 'Rock Band' mic?
