STUFF
• Garnett Lee, Senior Editor-Reviews of the 1UP Network joins Robert this week on the DL.TV set.
• Our Viewer Tech Pic of the Week is from George of Bartlett, IL.
• Gadgets from GDC: EyeTech, Guitar Rising, the Zalman Trimon and the Zalman FPS GUN FG1000.
• Garnett shows off a couple of inventive independent games: Crayon Physics Deluxe and Fez as well as the Unreal Engine 3 tech demo.
• Robert's favorite web game Desktop Tower Defense. And PS3 owners, Garnett suggests you keep and eye out for Pixel Junk Monsters.
• Our viewer question is from Tom in Fremont, CA:
OK, so the HD media wars are now over. Since Blu-ray is the winner, I went and bought a PS3. It's the best deal out there for a good Blu-ray 1.1 player. So, now I would like to know what is a good Blu-ray disc to buy that will really show off the capabilities of the PS3? What movie out there on Blu-ray is the best for this?
For info about BD's (Blu-ray disc's) Profiles, you can checkout Blu-Ray Profiles on Wikipedia.
•  Hulu.com has been ever so kind to give us more beta invites. Go to the Hulu/DL.TV page for more invites. Looks as if you guys wanted to check out the site. They gave us a total of 3100 invites. Get yours before they are all gone.
• On our March 6th show, next week, Loyd Case -Editor of Extremetech.com- will be joining us.
He will be answering as many of your questions as he can. So if you have a question for Loyd...ie. Graphics Cards, Motherboards, Processors, How to set up your lan party...Send us an email with "Ask Loyd" in the subject line.
• Folding@Home Update: We are still holding at Number 13. However, Jason from Cincinnati is hooking us up with some serious fire power. He is a IT Director for a private school and has about 950 machines at the school. He will be deploying the F@H client to as many of the machines as he can. He said that from the hours of 4pm to 7am, 400 computers are in idle. I think we, and Stanford, can use an extra 400 CPUs folding away. Don't you? Thank you Jason!

Great Show!!

Keep bringing Garnett on. I like having the game info and Robert needs a co-host. But I would like it if Robert was more of a second chair instead of lead. I miss the snarky, off the wall comments and he can't do many of them as the lead.

Hulu invites?? where?

Please keep the show running.

Well, I got the frames of scott boxing and made an animated gif file at 200x150 672KB. In AnimationShop it looks great and runs at the speed like in the video. In xp and 98se it runs at a normal speed. I can't figure out what's wrong ΒΆ=0( Bummer...

It seems like this program has just become a game show review program. I realize that there is an audience for this, but not me.

Losing interest. Sorry

IMHO one of the best shows in the post Norton era...Gar Lee and Robert seems to work well together and Gar was able to be the host at times then Robert and it work well. Both were obviously comfortable with there segments and the additional video added to the show...I actually chuckled out loud a few times...it's great to see this version of DL.TV start to grow and find it's center....keep pushing forward gentlemen.

@Robert Welshe

Yes, because they totally only talked about video games and not hardware, and they didn't have a tech pic or a viewer question. And they totally didn't say at the beginning that this show was going to be all about GDC.

I agree, this is slipping into being another G4. Very frustrating to those of us who don't want to hear about gaming. I also understand that you must appeal to a "broad" audience and that you can't please everybody. Keep up the good work. Run a poll for a couple weeks or an e-mail, asking for comments on more or less gaming.. just a thought. Maybe you already know your demographic..

It's only about games because GDC, don't get all upset so quickly guys.

Fear not kiddies. Ziff Davis bankruptcy will make all the problems you have with the show go away. Then when EVERYBODY is at Revision3, it too will collapse due to a lack of revenue.

(If you haven't left a comment here before, you may need to be approved by the site owner before your comment will appear. Until then, it won't appear on the entry. Thanks for waiting.)
