I need to get a camcorder for work. We are a restaurant/bar/nightclub/hotel complex in Ocean City, MD. I'm looking for something hard drive based that does ok in low light situations like night time in the bars. I was looking at the Panasonic SDR-H18, its get a lot of great reviews for ease of use and low light, but it seems it's out of production already. Do you have any suggestions?
We had David Gussman, Lead Analyst-Digital Cameras and Camcorders, to take a view moments and answer this question for John.

What's with the shorter length of the shows recently? Even when they were on twice a week they lasted 40 minutes or so, now it's just 30 minutes once a week.
That's just not enough Robert!

Hey guys. Try watching ALL the shows! Robert did say about 5 shows ago (give or take a show or two, right after Roger left) that DLTV would be shortening the length of the show to a half hour. I also recall him saying this would help save money with bandwidth costs too.
But what I want to know is what's up with Louderback? Why has he left and lured Patrick, Roger and other behind-the-scenes people away? Apparently, Louderback is working on Scott to leave next! But will Robert be leaving too? Or will DLTV be acquired by Revision3? What's going on behind the scenes?

Didn't Ziff Davis file for bankruptcy recently? Maybe that's why they need to cut costs.
Get back on your feet soon!

The show did seem really short. Louderback can take Scott if he wants. Take Brooks too. As long as Robert doesn't go! DL.TV needs a permanent co-host for Robert. This switching back and forth between Scott and Brooks isn't working for me. Little clips of them interviewing people every now and then is fine but as a co-host they are weak. The camera guy should have stayed behind the cameras, he was awful. Keep up the good work Robert. GO HOYAS!

I really miss the old style of this show. Seems likes all about HD TV/DVDs now. *sigh*

There seem to be lots of clicks in the audio which gets very distracting. Do the stools need DB40?? Or is this something else.
Keep up the great work

Regarding the clicks/pops with this episode's audio: it was the darn table making that noise. The DL.TV pit crew took the table apart and redid the loose parts - much better now.
My apologies for the distraction.
Robert
