Twhirl. Twhirl runs in

Do you have any advice/information on upcoming LCD technologies which may be important in considering whether to purchase a particular LCD now or hold off for the next gen in 6-12 months?
• Haven't done a Folding@Home update in awhile, but wanted to let you know where we stood in the standings. We are holding steady at #10. About 20 million points or so behind Team Rage 3D. If you haven't joined our team yet, go to our
Folding@Home page for all the info you need and links to the Stanford Folding@Home website to download the application. Remember, our team number is 57391.
Another reason we wanted to mention Folding@Home is that one of our viewers, Gary, found a folding protein game that also helps in the research. The game is called
Fold It. Scott has been playing with it a bit. He says it can be a time killer. Scott also contacted Prof. Vijay Pande, the head of the Folding@Home Project at Stanford University. Prof. Pande said that he is very familiar with the project, but not part of it. He says it is a very interesting teaching tool, however, the research aspect is less clear.
