STUFF
• The FLV Player is finally working. Sorry for the delay. All the download files should be happy as well. Thank you.
• Jason Cross of ExtremeTech.com joins Robert on set.
• We have a first look at the 13 inch Macbook and the 15 inch Macbook Pro.
• We got some mixed reviews on our new 16:9 format.
• The Speeding UP Firefox 3 Hacks got mixed reviews as well.
• This week's tech pic is from Aaron of Edinboro, PA. Aaron has hooked us up with a serious amount of Folding power.
• Jason Cross has a look at the new Antec Skeleton Case.
• Jason has been a busy boy. He replaced the normal PS3 hard drive with a Solid State Drive and found out that he didn't have to wait so long for his games to load.
• And now for the viewer questions:
We receive a bunch of email asking for specific recommendations on what hardware they can get that will be compatable with their current system. For example, this question from Lawrence in Australia:
I have a question about the Radeon 3870X2 and the 8800 Ultra video cards. I wanted to see which one would be a better choice for my current gaming system which is:
ASUS P5KC motherboard
4GB DDR2 800mhz ram
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
(Video card not selected yet)
I am not intending to set up a crossfire or SLI system anytime soon and just basically wanted your opinion on those two cards.
We thought it would be good to talk about what you might want to consider when making this kind of decision.
One site you might want to check out for help is 80 PLUS Program.
• We also mentioned the latest PS3 update. Click HERE for more details.
• Loyd will be on the show again real soon, like Nov 6th. Please remember to send you questions to our Sage of Tech.
• We are getting all the bugs worked out with our 16:9 format downloads. The iPod/PSP MP4 download is back as a 4:3 for the time being.
• Next Week: Garnett will be back on the show. He finally brings us a report on the Tokyo Game Show. We will also have the ExtremeTech.com Bang for the Buck PC.
See Ya Then.

Okay, I am waiting for the episode to be posted.

Come on, Content Distribution Network.

Doesn't "CrankyGeeks" use the same equipment as "DLTV"? If so, then why is it that CrankyGeeks can almost ALWAYS get their show up usually within HOURS of shooting it? It sounds to me like the REAL problems lie with the DLTV producers & technicians. Tell us the truth! It's NOT really the equipment or web host services or anything like that. You really DON'T know what you're doing now do you?!

C'Mon guys! Get it together.

Um, it is now more than 3 hours after my first comment, and the latest episode still has not been distributed yet?

Relax folks, you`d think by the tone of these comments that the DL.TV production crew were all first timers.

personally, i think thatif you can't wait for them to upload new episodes then you should shut your mouth and stop complaning, because it is your own fault you missed the live braudcast. and if you really liked the show you would be able to wait for it to be upped.
keep up the good work team DL.TV

THIS episode will not transfer from itunes to my iphone. Says my iphone can't play it. Every other episode has worked perfectly!

However long I have to wait... DL.TV is ALWAYS worth it. Keep up the GREAT work!

Well the aspect ratio definitely seems to be fixed this week and looks good, BUT I am getting some pretty major interlacing problems on the H.264 video. its only noticeable during movement like the intro and quick hand motions.

Nice show again, tnx.
But I got some deinterlacing problems now(looks really bad now) and the aspect ratio is still locked.
Hope you get it fixed for next week.

I second Metalpres and frank: there are interlacing like motion artifacts in DivX format too. They were not there in ep 253 (or earlier 4:3 shows).

Hey kids,
Scott here. Just wanted to let you know that we found the problem for why iTunes is not downloading this episode. We uploaded a new file and double checked the link. If it hasn't refreshed already, should be ready by tomorrow (Wednesday).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The skeleton case is cool but watch out for any spills or else it's toast!!!

Looks great in Windows Media Player on 4:3 monitor. Glad aspect ratio is fixed.

I'm hoping to see an energy efficient shoot-out between HDTVs. Plasma vs. LCD vs. DLP. I'm putting my money on LED DLP HDTV with 3D.
